Cafe 1900 in Marburg

The best restaurant in the upper town of Marburg. Schnitzel and casseroles outstanding, can't be beat for the price. In summer you can sit outside nicely.

Delicious and above all cheap food. Clear recommendation to visit.

The schnitzels are already quite tasty and the price is also quite cheap for the performance. Salad as a starter, schnitzel with French fries or fried potatoes as a main course and cake or coffee / expresso as a follow-up and all for just under 10 euros. Thumbs up here (on schnitzel day for only € 7.50). I think the drink prices, especially for soft drinks, are exaggerated (0.4 l for 4.20 €).

Food was great. Unfortunately it was mineral water from Rewe (yes) that was served. Therefore only 3 stars

One of my favourite cafe in the oberstadt ,they have very delicious Auflauf ,and the workers there are very nice too.

The dishes always tasted good to me. Waiters are very polite and nice. But since the last time that I saw mushrooms that were not properly cleaned in my food, I can no longer imagine whether I can trust them!

Nice cozy restaurant where you can eat great. The ambience is small and is in the upper town, which makes eating there very pleasant. The portions are quite large and the prices are reasonable in any case. We recommend the casseroles in 1900, which are always convincing!

Best place for Schnitzel for us, so far.! and affordable too.

Our favorite location in Marburg

The place is fine. The service was friendly but very distracted, so it was hard to get their attention. The food tasted good - we had "Auflauf" - stuff baked in the oven and covered with cheese. It had a but too much cream, but otherwise it was fine. The prices where low - normal marburg standard. 3 stars because it isn't really like an amazing culinary experience or so.

I didn't like the food- it was way to salty. Staff poorly communicates in English.

A place that you must visit and eat there traditional food too.

i was actually quite satisfied. Schnitzel was really good and very reasonably priced. And such a large serving! Every tuesday there is special offer for schnitzel. Save the date! ? And I have to say that Auflauf is a must try. Best in Marburg. The price is 7-8 euro. Have been there a few times and still want to go ??? By the way there is one thing very important: they don't accept cash. Make sure that you carry enough cash with you!!!
